Happy Monday! The Flower Fairy Card of the Week is…drum roll please…Healing! Whoop whoop!!! One of two cards that venture away from flowers, I think Aloe Vera is pretty awesome which is how it made it into the deck. However, for some reason, I am unable to keep them alive–oops! So, I’m still trying to figure out this blogging business–tehehe, I guess if I’m to share my inner muse, it will be a random rambling with a side of Squirrel!! and a few deep meanings, lots of laughs, and me sharing my crazy life.
So here it goes…I spent today attempting to get caught up from three weeks of vacay, recovering from a show on Saturday, prepping for an all weekend show for this weekend, thinking about an upcoming training and wondering how I get myself into these situations (I love it!), cleaning house since I have company coming on Wednesday, and wondering why my critters have been so nice lately–one who is currently sitting opposite of me on the kitchen table giving me the hairy eyeball over the computer! My to-do list is three pages long and I’m no where close to getting things done, but what the hell, I really just want to sit and finish my Nora Roberts book (love, love, LOVE her!!!!) So it will probably be another week of minimal sleep and finding small windows of time to finish my book–ha!
Back to the Flower Fairies. Healing. A profound word. Thinking of all that it entails, healing is the word for this week, especially for today 9/11. I remember the day vividly and the devastation surrounding it. Lives changed, my world view changed. Looking at what came from it, it pulled us together as humans, recognizing that we are all in this together. Just as the hurricanes are uniting people together, we will make it through rough times and heal. Say a prayer, check on your neighbors, smile at a stranger, lean down and talk to a child…little things go a long way to connect and heal. And take care of you–you’re important, and there is only one of you!
