I believe in magic! And fairies, and past lives, and all kinds of other cool “out there” things that cause some people to look at me sideways. That’s ok, I’m comfortable with my “out there” beliefs. It’s really awesome when you find some other “out there” believers! The Flower Fairies card of the week is…Magic! Do you believe in magic? If no, when did you stop? One conversation that sticks out in my mind was with a young boy around the age of ten. He says to me, “I know you are always honest with me.” Uh oh, where is this conversation heading? “Is Santa Claus real?” Wow, what a conversation we had, and on the topic of magic. How there are things that we believe, really aren’t there, but yet, they are. The Magic Card for this week has an interesting story behind it. There is a tree in Lily Dale, New York, that I’m continuously drawn towards. So late one night, I got a picture of it. Looking at the picture the next day, there is a gnome face in the bark that is not there in the daytime. It was wild! Again, some people may think I’m a little loony, but you would look at the picture and go, ohhhhhhhh…yeah.
On another note, it has been another trying week. That’s two in a row now Spirit. I’ve reached my max quota for the year, so let’s switch it up lickety-split. My basement flooding saga and Wonder Woman moment update…My carpet was officially dry and professionally cleaned on Friday. Yeah!!! And then the torrential downpours started again on Saturday. This morning when I woke up, the carpet was wet again. Seriously?!? As I’m having a minor meltdown, the phone rings. It’s a prayer center asking if I need someone to pray for me. No joke. I think Spirit has an excellent sense of humor…or scam artists have excellent timing, I don’t know which. So, the big guns are coming tomorrow to assess the situation and figure out what is going on. Maybe I’ll wear my red cape just for fun…
To keep myself entertained this weekend, and to get out of my urge to build an ark, I was playing around on my computer. I made George Clooney my screen saver, and found it quite amusing that it looked like he was saying, “Hello, Hot Stuff”. That could definitely cheer up my day…so George, if you’re ever reading this, just a quick “Hey” would make my day…possibly even my week…maybe even my month. We should give it a whirl and see. Instant mood lifter, quicker than therapy, and cheaper than chocolate…HA! Talking about mood lifting, I better be getting ready for my men’s yoga class this evening, rearranging living room furniture since my studio is still a tad damp. Sigh. May this week be DRY, prosperous, and wildly entertaining!
