Monday, Monday, so good to me! Ahhh–Have to give credit to The Mama’s & The Papas here, that song has been floating through my head today…It’s funny how much we relate to music. Does anyone else have songs that they hear and immediately think of someone? Back in the 80’s when my sisters and I were little, it was pure torture driving anywhere with my mother because we listened to Barry Manilow, Barbra Streisand, and Neil Diamond ALL THE FREAKING TIME! Ad nauseam is the word I would use, and we didn’t like their music at all. In the little white Honda Accord, the tape deck was jammin! Of course, now all of us have Barry, Barbra, and Neil’s music on CD’s and actually enjoy it. Too funny!
What a weekend! Good Friday, Passover, Easter, AND April Fool’s Day in one weekend! On top of that, I had a hypnotherapy party at my house with my friends as we work towards our certification–wild stuff! It’s amazing to me, since I was a client for my friend, how we delve into an issue to work on, and then are totally blown away by what surfaces….and how quickly it’s resolved. With all this work, I’m getting pretty close to perfect! HA! No negative responses from the peanut gallery if you disagree…those of you know who you are!
I feel like I’m all over the place today…On to the Flower Fairy Card of the Week….Innocence! I think that it’s perfectly timed with the events from the weekend. The Flower Fairies remind us to see the world through the innocent eyes of a child. Sunday I had the pleasure of watching the neighbor kids on an Easter egg hunt, hearing the squeals of laughter and their excitement made my day. It was so awesome! Something that I’m reminded of continuously, and I believe if others in our world did the same, that we could change the world. What is it that I’m talking about? As I do therapy, ministry, yoga sessions, and hypnosis, as people share their vulnerabilities, we connect on a soul level. And how freaking powerful it is! Everyone has things that they fear, have people/pets they love like crazy and would do anything for, has things they are uncomfortable with emotionally, and so on and so forth. When we connect on that level, it reminds us that we are human and we are all one. Race, gender, sexuality, religion, and all those other things that people allow to separate them, DOES NOT MATTER. Take the reminder from the fairies, and look at your world through the innocent eyes of a child. Recognize others are in the same place as we are–it brings a lot of peace and much less stress and aggravation. On a side note, it really helps my driving…tehehe! I always consider the person in front of me driving slow as molasses is just my guardian angel–it works! Have a wonderful week folks!
