Good morning and happy beginning of the week! I just returned from taking my little critter to the vet to have her stitches removed. It’s almost comical when the whole office remarks “Someone isn’t happy!” when you hear her carrying on all through the office. Sigh–I only got smacked twice since we’ve been home, and then she went into hiding. Personalities are such an interesting thing…
On a happier note, it’s time for the unveiling of the Flower Fairies Card of the week….Romance! Ooh la la!! This is my first favorite card of the deck…and love last week is my second favorite! I love romance—and with Valentine’s Day fast approaching, what a great time to celebrate the romantic love in our life! Or in my case, the hope that it will some day soon be coming into my life. The universe better be listening! Romantic love in my life is certainly lacking. Big time sigh. Remember the ferrets in an earlier blog? Thank God I’m not a ferret, or I’d have been dead and buried many times over! This is a common area of comical discussion among those around me. Yes, seriously, even the jokes about looking into buying stock in a battery company. And then there’s the unsolicited dating advice and suggestions. I should write a book. Yet there have been other comments made that I should write a book on my relationship expertise because people think I’m brilliant. Ha! Relationships, right along with personalities, are an interesting concept. With years of therapy under my belt, I have a few words of wisdom. First, be you and two, be vulnerable. When you bare your soul and it’s reciprocated, there is nothing more powerful. Third, love unconditionally. When you know that someone loves you with all your quirks, it just makes life easier. Fourth, celebrate every day together. Life is short, and we don’t know how much time we have. Fifth, laugh often. Life is crazy…laughing at least makes it entertaining and fun. Sixth, learn to work things out. If you need help, get help, again life is too short to be pissed off and angry with each other all the time. I could go on and on…Tehehe–I think Spirit is wanting me to add to my list–“Physical” by Olivia Newton John is playing on my ITunes. Yes—be romantic and get physical! Sex is play for adults–who doesn’t enjoy going to the playground?!? Just be safe–tehehe. Lastly, Valentine’s Day comes once a year, which doesn’t give you permission to forget the other 364 days. If you need some suggestions, just ask, I’ve had years to plot, create, mold, sculpt my romantic ideas for the one lucky guy when he comes into my life. Tehehe! Oh won’t those be titillating blogs…censorship here we come! Happy Valentine’s Week!
